    Who Are Delegates?

Africa’s challenge over the next few years will be to build sustainable nations for its future generation. In the past, the decisions to tackle inclusive growth, digital transformation and inequality took place at national level, today, it’s teenagers that will determine how much progress we make.

With an emphasis on building intergenerational and cross-sectoral partnerships.

In addition to delegates will be in attendance; experts from academia, business, government, international organizations, civil society, the arts, and the media committed to improving Africa by helping to shape the national agenda.

Every year, schools/organisations/hubs/communities around Africa are invited to send delegates. Delegates are expected to apply through the portal. They will be expected to take part in representing national issues and solutions in different panels during the session. During the Assembly, delegates debate, formulate and share innovative solutions to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, drive national change and key transformations.

Mentors help build teen confidence, leadership skills and global perspective to help them create change in themselves and their communities. Mentors find new ways of tackling major social challenges by working alongside teen communities, using the tools of research and social innovation.

Our year-long, part-time leadership program selects a handful of exceptional high school and university students for a rigorous journey—outside of school— towards self-discovery, career direction, skills development, and extraordinary real-world accomplishments through mentorship.

Innovation and Leadership can be a lonely task and we believe people need support from others with similar experiences. Since our creation, all our work has been guided by the power of relationships and collaboration to solve problems.

We believe in a holistic approach to leadership training that revolves around 3 pillars to give the most comprehensive look for our teen leaders. We are passionate about preparing them for the challenges ahead.

Never has there been such weighty responsibility on the shoulders of young people. Never has there been the influence in the hands of young people like the influence they carry now. But for Africa to reap the dividends she has longed for, it is up to our generation to make sure that influence is channelled correctly and directed towards relevant issues that affect not only ourselves but generations after us. This can only be achieved if we come together as young people and begin to address the challenges before us as a continent.
